Ready-made connectors for public data
Start from templates for public sources such as IMGW, GIOŚ and NOAA, or point a connector at your own endpoint. JSON, CSV and XML feeds are supported, so most public and sensor APIs fit.
Scheduled polling, nothing to babysit
LimnoLog fetches new readings on a schedule and files them into your stations - no manual downloads, no copy-paste. Duplicate readings are skipped and long series are downsampled so your project stays manageable.
No public endpoint? Push data in (webhook)
Loggers behind NAT, LoRaWAN/TTN gateways and custom scripts can push readings straight to a per-connector URL secured with a token - no public endpoint or port-forwarding needed. The wizard shows the URL, the token and a ready-to-use curl example.
Derived parameters and threshold alerts
Every incoming reading feeds your calculated parameters and is checked against your guideline values. When a value crosses a threshold, the project admin gets an email - so you notice a problem the day it happens, not at the end of the season.
Combine public data with your own
Overlay your field measurements with a public station series on the same charts, and publish the result as a public dashboard on its own link. Great for putting your site in the context of the wider catchment.

Which data sources are supported? +
Ready-made templates cover common public sources such as IMGW, GIOŚ and NOAA, and you can connect any endpoint that returns JSON, CSV or XML - including many sensor and telemetry feeds.
Can I connect my own sensor? +
Yes, as long as it exposes an HTTP endpoint returning JSON, CSV or XML. You map the fields once and LimnoLog reads it on the schedule you set.
My logger has no public API - can it still send data? +
Yes. Switch the connector to webhook mode: LimnoLog gives you a unique URL and token, and your logger, LoRaWAN/TTN integration or script POSTs readings (JSON, CSV or XML) whenever it likes. You can rotate or revoke the token at any time.
How often does it poll? +
On a schedule you choose. Readings are pulled automatically, duplicates are skipped, and very long series are downsampled to keep the project responsive.
Are there limits? +
Connectors run on a fair-use basis with a per-poll cap, and external public sources come without uptime or availability guarantees - they are third-party feeds. For normal research use this is plenty.
