LimnoLog is in early access - the core app is free until paid plans launch. Accounts created now will keep the core app free forever (founder status) with a permanent −50% discount on add-ons.

Shipped

  • Receiving data pushed by devices (webhook) - your own endpoint and token for a logger, sensor or LoRaWAN gateway without a public API
  • Field outings planner - a calendar of scheduled visits, email and push reminders, sample labels and a QR scan straight into data entry
  • Windows app in the Microsoft Store - install straight from the system with automatic updates (available)
  • Android app on Google Play and Huawei AppGallery - native QR scanner, GPS and printing (available)
  • Scheduled reports - a recurring summary of selected indicators emailed to project recipients (e.g. the client)
  • PDF report builder with live preview - a finished report for your client (7 languages)
  • Photos in the field - document the sample, site and station (geotag, works offline, in the PDF report)
  • QR labels and a sample-code scanner - print a label and scan it with any camera
  • Digital accessibility (WCAG) - accessibility statement and a table alternative under the charts
  • Create a project in 3 steps from ready-made templates (lake, wastewater plant, river, urban monitoring)

Planned for the coming months

  • Launch of paid plans (Stripe) - Researcher / Lab Team / Institution
  • Premium alerting - webhook / API notifications to external systems on guideline exceedance, with a heartbeat confirming connectivity
  • Expanded telemetry connectors - more ready-made templates for public data sources and a notification when automatic data collection stops working
  • Direct integrations with sonde and logger manufacturer platforms (incl. In-Situ HydroVu, Onset HOBOlink) - connect your equipment by entering access credentials, no code required

Future

  • iOS app - native offline mode, camera and GPS in the field
  • SSO login - Google Workspace / Microsoft Entra (Institution plan)
  • Full API access - REST with documentation (Institution plan)
  • White-label - your organisation’s logo in the app and exports
